Where did you grow up? Tell us about your family!
I grew up in the Philippines. I am the first born of 4 children. My dad was a pilot and my mom was a dentist. I’m married to a retired Cardiac surgeon. We have 4 children: 3 girls and 1 boy, all adults. We also have 2 granddaughters!
What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
I love spending time with my grandbabies. We can just hang out, play out in the garden, or go swimming. They spend weekends at our home.
When did you know you wanted to be an Orthodontist? What inspired your interest in this field?
My mother was a dentist, and during summer vacations, I would help in her clinic. Because of that exposure, that’s all I wanted to be. For a while, I thought I wanted to be a medical doctor, but the education was too long and tedious.
What show(s) are you currently binge-watching?
I just finished watching The White Lotus. Yellowstone is still one of my favorites, and I also love action films and crime shows.
What’s your favorite holiday?
I love Christmas, Easter and the 4th of July!
What do you love most about being an Orthodontist?
I love seeing how a great smile can change a person’s appearance, well-being, and confidence. While orthodontic treatments take time, it is an opportunity to get to know people, make friends and spread goodwill.
What’s your favorite movie?
I love Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick.
Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I am definitely an extrovert!
What do you love most about San Antonio?
All the places there are to see and visit! The Alamo, the Riverwalk, the missions, and all the restaurants to choose from!
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
I would have to take my facial care pack, my phone, and medications.

I love to travel! I am also passionate about skin care and like all things shiny and glittery!
